Global pop hits will lead into a spectacular midnight celebration
DUBAI – Katy Perry is set to headline the New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner at Atlantis, The Palm on December 31, bringing some of her biggest pop hits to Palm Jumeirah as Dubai prepares to welcome 2027.
The Grammy-nominated singer will perform live on the resort’s outdoor stage during an evening combining fine dining, entertainment and a major midnight fireworks display. The celebration will begin at 6pm, with guests moving through a programme of live entertainment before Perry takes the spotlight.
Perry has built one of pop music’s biggest catalogues since making her Capitol Records debut with One of the Boys in 2008. She has accumulated more than 115 billion streams worldwide and sold over 143 million tracks, while Firework, Dark Horse and Roar have each achieved Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. She became the first artist in RIAA history to reach the milestone with three singles.

Her Atlantis set is expected to feature several of those defining tracks, alongside favourites including Last Friday Night. The performance will take place on the resort’s outdoor stage, giving guests a front-row setting for the entertainment before the evening moves towards the midnight countdown.
The choice of Firework for a New Year’s Eve performance will be particularly fitting, with the show leading into a fireworks display across the Palm Jumeirah skyline. The pyrotechnic spectacle is scheduled to stretch from Atlantis, The Palm towards Atlantis The Royal.
The black-tie gala begins with Champagne, canapés and roaming entertainment from 6pm. A 30-piece live band will perform during the evening, while the dinner offering includes lobster, caviar, sushi, live cooking stations, desserts and petit fours.
Gala packages
Premium seating starts from Dh8,500 for guests aged 14 and above, with tickets for children aged four to 13 starting from Dh6,500. Children under three can attend for free.
Rouge Circle seating, positioned close to the stage, starts from Dh10,500 for adults and Dh7,500 for children aged four to 13, while under-threes enter free.
The Golden Circle package starts from Dh14,500 for guests aged 14 and above and Dh8,500 for children aged 0 to 13. It includes private seating in front of the stage, unlimited premium Champagne, a caviar box with personalised truffle service, and upgraded drinks.
For larger celebrations, VIP Sky Suites start from Dh250,000 for up to 10 guests. The Aurora suite is priced from Dh250,000, while the Celestial option starts from Dh400,000. Both packages include private butler service, catering from the resort’s restaurants, access to the gala buffet and premium Champagne.
Families will also have access to a dedicated children’s party zone at the Asateer Tent, featuring a giant slide, bouncy castle, outdoor cinema, games, arts and crafts and other activities.
