Dubai Esports and Games Festival (DEF) 2025 has officially launched, transforming the city into an electrifying playground for gamers, pop culture fans, and esports champions alike.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the 17-day extravaganza, running from 25th April to 11th May, offers an unmatched blend of entertainment, competition, and creativity.
Prizes worth over Dh500,000, free-to-play zones, global influencer matchups, and interactive events are set to light up Dubai, culminating in an epic GameExpo at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 9th to 11th May.

The highly anticipated GameExpo returns to DWTC’s Zabeel Halls 2 and 3, promising eight themed gaming zones filled with exclusive experiences. Influencer meet-and-greets, thrilling esports tournaments, and retro arcade nostalgia await visitors.
Debut attractions such as The Amazon Quest: The New IRL Zone, powered by Amazon, and the Just Dance Zone in partnership with Ubisoft, are ready to wow guests of all ages.
Sim Racing and Web3 Gaming zones also offer a glimpse into the future of gaming, while The Narrows marketplace showcases exclusive merchandise and collectibles.
Food lovers can recharge between gaming sessions at two talabat F&B Zones, ensuring non-stop energy throughout the weekend.

Top regional names, including gaming sensation Abo Flah, headline the action-packed Play Beyond event on 10th and 11th May. Fans can witness high-octane battles between regional and global pros for the coveted Play Beyond trophy.
Ticket prices start at Dh39 for students and Dh69 for adults, with multi-day passes and family packages available. For an enhanced experience, Pro Gamer Experience tickets priced at Dh199 allow exclusive access to creator meet-and-greets.
Meanwhile, DEF PlayStation EA FC 25 Cup invites players to compete for a share of $10,000 during live finals at GameExpo. Yalla Ludo Challenge also rewards mobile gamers with in-game prizes and leaderboard recognition, running from 29th April to 6th May.
