DUBAI is set to usher in 2026 with a large-scale Bollywood musical showcase as the Bollywood Musical Night New Year's Eve Celebration takes place on December 31 at Dubai Parks and Resorts Parking 2.

The event promises an evening of live performances, DJ-led entertainment and festive celebrations, bringing together Bollywood, Punjabi and Sufi music for audiences marking the transition into the New Year.

Scheduled to begin on the final night of 2025, the celebration is designed as a family-friendly musical experience featuring multiple artists, professional sound production and an open-air concert atmosphere. Organisers have positioned the event as a full-length musical journey, offering continuous entertainment through live vocals and DJ sets as midnight approaches.

The New Year’s Eve celebration will be headlined by Indian singer Sagar Bhattia and Punjabi and Bollywood star Jasmine Sandlas, with DJ Aerreo rounding out the lineup by spinning commercial and Bollywood tracks throughout the night. Tickets for the event are priced from Dh100, making it one of the more accessible large-format New Year’s Eve music events scheduled in Dubai.

The event is expected to attract fans of Bollywood music, Punjabi hits and Sufi melodies, with organisers highlighting the diversity of musical genres represented in the night’s programme.

Sagar Bhattia

Sagar Bhattia, born on December 11, 1989, in Delhi, is widely recognised for his work in Qawwali and Sufi music. Raised in a musically inclined household, Bhattia developed his vocal style by blending traditional Qawwali with contemporary arrangements, a fusion that has helped broaden the genre’s appeal among younger audiences.

His discography includes tracks such as Kiven Mukhre Ton, Mera Ishq and Khudaya, with the latter featured in the Bollywood film Sarfira. In recent years, Bhattia has released several Sufi reinterpretations, including Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (Sufi Version) and Guilty (Sufi Version), reinforcing his reputation as a modern voice within devotional and romantic music.

Bhattia has received industry recognition through awards such as Popular Music Maestro of The Year and Best Live Act on Stage at The Blackswan Awards. His live performances are known for extended vocal improvisations and audience interaction, elements expected to feature prominently during the Dubai New Year’s Eve show.

Jasmine Sandlas

Jasmine Kaur Sandlas, born on September 4, 1990, brings a contrasting yet complementary sound to the night’s lineup. An Indian-American singer, rapper and television personality, Sandlas rose to prominence with her debut track Muskan in 2008 before gaining wider recognition in Punjabi music with the album Gulabi, created in collaboration with rapper Bohemia.

Her Bollywood playback debut came in 2014 with Yaar Na Miley from the film Kick, a song that earned multiple accolades, including recognition at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards and the Screen Awards. Known for blending R&B, Punjabi folk, rap and classical influences, Sandlas has built a career spanning independent music, film soundtracks and live performances.

Her later works include albums such as What’s In A Name and The Great Punjabi Experiment, along with singles like Jehri Ve, Ittar and Jee Jeha Karda. Sandlas has also appeared on platforms such as MTV Coke Studio and TEDx, highlighting her versatility as a performer and songwriter.

DJ Aerreo

DJ Aerreo will provide continuous musical energy between live sets, curating a playlist of commercial hits and Bollywood favourites to maintain momentum throughout the evening.

The combination of live vocals and DJ-driven tracks is intended to keep the audience engaged until the New Year countdown.
