Tesla opens first showroom in Jeddah as Saudi EV demand rises
Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck now available locally
DUBAI – Electric vehicle giant Tesla has officially opened a new centre in Jeddah, marking its second major facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and signalling a deeper push into one of the region’s fastest-evolving automotive markets.
Located within the Jeddah Auto Mall, the new site reflects growing consumer demand for electric vehicles and aligns with the sustainability goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
The opening follows Tesla’s market debut in the Kingdom earlier this year and builds on its expanding infrastructure, product offering and after-sales services. With the latest launch, the company is strengthening its presence in western Saudi Arabia while enhancing accessibility for customers in and around Jeddah.
The facility enables visitors to explore Tesla’s vehicle lineup, interact with advisors and access services designed to support both new and existing owners. It also underscores Tesla’s strategy of combining retail, service and technology experiences within a single integrated location.
Tesla in Saudi Arabia
Tesla first entered the Saudi market on April 10, 2025, with a launch event at Bujairi Terrace, where it introduced its online configurator to local customers. This digital-first approach allowed buyers to customise and order vehicles directly, marking the brand’s official arrival in the Kingdom.
The company’s first physical centre opened shortly after, on June 26, 2025, in Riyadh on Takhassousi Road. That facility provided customers with access to test drives and in-person consultations, focusing on two of Tesla’s most popular global models.
The newly opened Jeddah centre extends this offering, providing a similar experience while catering to the western region’s growing appetite for electric mobility solutions.
Vehicle lineup
Customers visiting the Jeddah centre can explore Tesla’s globally recognised models, including the Model 3 and Model Y, both of which are now available in Saudi Arabia.
The Model 3 is positioned as a premium everyday sedan, featuring a refined interior, quiet cabin and responsive handling. Designed for long-distance travel, it offers a driving range of up to 750 km (WLTP) on a single charge. The model is available in the Kingdom starting at SAR 154,990.
The Model Y, a midsize SUV, combines versatility with extended range and interior space suited for families and long journeys. In 2023, it became the world’s best-selling vehicle across all powertrains, marking a milestone for electric vehicles globally. It is currently priced from SAR 189,990 in Saudi Arabia.
Also introduced to the local market is the Cybertruck, Tesla’s distinctive all-electric pickup. Designed with a futuristic aesthetic, it delivers high utility and performance, blending the capabilities of a traditional truck with sports car-like acceleration. The Cybertruck is available starting at SAR 434,990.
Charging network
Tesla’s charging infrastructure continues to expand across Saudi Arabia, supporting both daily commutes and long-distance travel. The Supercharger network is currently operational across four cities, offering a total of 48 charging points.
These high-speed chargers can add up to 282 km of driving range in approximately 15 minutes, significantly reducing charging times and improving convenience for users.

Recent expansions include new Supercharger stations in Jeddah at Yasmin Mall and in Taif at Jouri Mall. Existing locations span key urban hubs, including Mall of Arabia and U Walk in Jeddah, Al Nakheel Mall in Riyadh, and Al Nakheel Mall in Dammam.
In addition to public charging, Tesla offers home charging solutions through its Wall Connector, allowing owners to charge overnight at lower cost compared to petrol for similarly sized vehicles.
Technology showcase
The Jeddah centre also highlights Tesla’s broader ecosystem of technology and innovation. Visitors can experience demonstrations of advanced features, including the company’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system, which is designed to assist with navigation and driving tasks under active driver supervision. The feature is expected to launch in Saudi Arabia at a later stage.
A dedicated safety showcase provides insights into Tesla’s engineering standards and safety systems, which are integrated into every vehicle. The centre also presents Tesla’s charging ecosystem, including app-based tools such as trip planning, scheduling and preconditioning.
Among the exhibits is the Tesla Bot, known as Optimus, a humanoid robot designed to perform repetitive or hazardous tasks. The display reflects Tesla’s broader ambitions in artificial intelligence and robotics beyond the automotive sector.
Service network
The Jeddah facility includes a fully operational service centre, reinforcing Tesla’s vertically integrated model in which it designs, sells and services vehicles directly. This approach allows for streamlined maintenance and consistent customer support.
Tesla Service Technicians at the centre are trained to handle diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance, ensuring faster turnaround times. In parallel, the company offers Mobile Service options, enabling customers to schedule maintenance at their home or workplace.
With fewer moving parts compared to traditional petrol vehicles, Tesla cars typically require less maintenance, contributing to lower long-term ownership costs and increased uptime on the road.
The Jeddah centre operates sales services from Saturday to Thursday between 12pm and 9pm, and on Friday from 9am to 6pm. Service operations run from Sunday to Thursday between 9am and 6pm.
