Frontline Heroes Office marks 50 years of Emirati women’s achievements

ABU DHABI – Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Frontline Heroes Office, has hailed Emirati Women’s Day 2025 as a moment of renewed pride and commitment to the nation’s journey.
He emphasised that the theme chosen by Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50,” reflects half a century of enduring achievements by Emirati women and their central role in national development.
Sheikh Sultan said Emirati women have consistently proven their ability to excel across all fields, even in times of challenge. He highlighted their leadership in sustainable development, presence on the frontlines of service, and success in innovation, science, space exploration, and the economy. Their contributions, he noted, are a testament to the vision and support of the UAE’s wise leadership.
He underlined that Emirati women’s progress over the past five decades, under the guidance of Sheikha Fatima, has set a global standard for empowerment. From decision-making positions to international recognition, their achievements stand as a long-term success shaped by strategic vision and unwavering belief in their potential.

Sheikh Sultan praised the chosen theme for this year’s celebrations, noting that it not only marks 50 years of women’s empowerment but also symbolises gratitude for their enduring contribution to the nation’s renaissance.
