Emirates brings iconic A380 to life at Belgium’s Mini-Europe
Nearly three-metre model crafted with intricate detail
BRUSSELS/DUBAI – The Emirates A380 has touched down at the airport in Mini-Europe, bringing one of the world’s most recognisable aircraft to Brussels’ captivating world of miniature monuments, displays and animations.
The new addition introduces visitors to the iconic double-decker aircraft in a unique setting that celebrates European culture and global connections.
The unveiling also highlights Emirates’ longstanding relationship with Belgium and Europe.
Emirates A380 model
The Emirates A380 model has been replicated in striking detail, taking more than 60 hours of intricate craftsmanship by Mini-Europe’s expert modellers to capture the aircraft’s distinctive features and the airline’s iconic livery.
Custom-made at a scale of 1:25, the aircraft still measures nearly three metres in length at 292 cm, with an impressive wingspan of 320 cm and a height of 45 cm. From the proportions of the fuselage to the fine details of the livery, the model reflects the expertise and craftsmanship that define Mini-Europe’s creations.
As the world’s largest international airline and the world’s largest operator of the A380, Emirates continues to celebrate the enduring appeal of the aircraft, which has become closely associated with premium travel experiences and worldwide connectivity.

The arrival of the Emirates A380 marks another step for Mini-Europe as it continues to showcase not only Europe’s cultural heritage but also its links with the wider world. Emirates in Belgium
Emirates has been serving Brussels for more than 11 years and has carried over 3 million passengers to and through Dubai. Over the years, the airline has expanded its passenger offering by adding a second daily frequency and introducing its latest aircraft to Belgian skies, including the fully retrofitted Boeing 777 equipped with Premium Economy.
In 2018, Emirates operated a special one-off A380 flight into Brussels Airport to celebrate the inauguration of the airport’s first A380-capable gate.
