DUBAI – UAE travellers planning summer holidays to India and other destinations could secure lower airfares this week after Air India Express launched its latest ‘Xpress Sale’, offering five million seats at discounts of up to 50 percent across its domestic and international network.

The sale opened today (May 27) and will continue until May 31, covering travel between June 15 and October 10, 2026. The airline said the offer applies to both Lite fares, which do not include check-in baggage, and Value fares on several routes.

Air India Express has also rolled out exclusive early access for customers booking through its official website and mobile application. The airline said the sale became available on its digital platforms from May 27, before opening across major booking channels a day later. Passengers booking directly through the airline’s website and app will additionally benefit from zero convenience fees during the promotional period.

Extra benefits

The carrier is extending further offers to Tata NeuPass members, who can avail up to 20 percent discounts on Business Class fares by logging into the platform before booking. These fares include additional legroom, complimentary ‘Gourmair’ hot meals, higher baggage allowance and ‘Xpress Ahead’ priority services.

NeuPass members can also receive additional savings of up to ₹300 on flight bookings and earn up to 8 percent NeuCoins. The airline said members will be able to access discounts of up to 30 percent on ancillary services, including ‘Gourmair’ meals, standard and prime seat selection, and excess baggage options such as 10kg Xcess Check-In and 3kg Xtra Carry-On packages.

Air India Express said students, senior citizens, serving and retired armed forces personnel, along with their dependents, will continue receiving special discounted fares and benefits under the airline’s existing schemes.

The airline recently launched its ‘Xpress Wali Baat Hai’ campaign featuring actor Pankaj Tripathi, highlighting the carrier’s onboard experience, including hot meals, comfortable seating and Indian hospitality.

Air India Express, a Tata enterprise, currently operates more than 500 daily flights connecting 43 domestic and 16 international destinations across South, Southeast and West Asia. The airline operates a fleet of more than 100 Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft as it continues expanding its regional and international connectivity.
