DUBAI – The stage is set for one of world cricket’s biggest encounters as India and Pakistan meet tonight in the Asia Cup 2025 final at Dubai International Stadium.
With both teams unbeaten so far, anticipation is running high as tens of thousands of fans prepare to fill the venue.
To ensure smooth proceedings, Dubai Police have issued a comprehensive safety and traffic guide for all spectators, covering stadium entry, prohibited items, and penalties for violations. Officials urged fans to arrive early and respect the guidelines to make the final a safe and enjoyable experience.
Stadium rules and banned items
Dubai Police confirmed a strict list of prohibited items. Fireworks, flares, sharp tools, glass bottles, laser devices, and professional cameras with detachable lenses are banned. Flags and banners are allowed but must be within approved sizes and free from offensive or political messaging.

Food deliveries, outside beverages, and large bags are not permitted. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas, and fans are required to follow stadium staff instructions at all times.
Safety measures and fines
Authorities warned that violators face fines of up to Dh30,000 and possible ejection from the venue. Disorderly behaviour, throwing objects, or attempting to invade the pitch will result in immediate penalties. Dubai Police also emphasised zero tolerance for offensive chants or gestures.
Emergency services and medical teams will be stationed inside the stadium, while crowd management officers will monitor entry and seating to avoid congestion.
Traffic and parking
With more than 25,000 spectators expected, traffic diversions will be in place around Dubai Sports City and Al Khail Road. Parking near the stadium is extremely limited, with most spaces reserved for official use and hospitality pass holders.
Dubai Police advised fans to use park-and-ride shuttle services from designated lots. Shuttle buses will operate throughout the evening, helping reduce congestion around the stadium.
Public transport
Spectators are encouraged to rely on Dubai Metro and RTA buses for smoother access. Extra services will run before and after the match to accommodate heavy crowds. Fans should plan their journey in advance and allow extra travel time due to road closures.
