DUBAI – Dubai’s comedy scene is about to get a burst of energy and laughter as Jamie Lever, one of India’s most loved comedians, takes the stage for her first-ever live performance in the city.
Known for her impeccable comic timing, hilarious mimicry and musical flair, Jamie is set to bring her much-acclaimed solo act The Jamie Lever Show to Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Oud Metha, on Saturday, 13 December.
The event, organised by Sublime Entertainment, will kick off at 7 pm, with doors opening an hour earlier at 6 pm. Promising a 2.5-hour entertainment extravaganza, the evening will feature Jamie’s signature mix of comedy, mimicry and music – performed primarily in Hindi with touches of English. She is the daughter of Bollywood comedy legend Johnny Lever.

The live show will be held at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium within The Indian High School, located on Oud Metha Road – one of Dubai’s most easily accessible cultural venues. The auditorium features multiple seating categories: Silver, Bronze and Balcony. Guests should note that the Bronze and Balcony sections are located on the first and second floors, accessible only by stairs, while the Silver section is on the ground level with limited steps.
A lift is available at the venue, and a ramp allows entry for people of determination, though upper-level access remains restricted due to stairs. Event organisers have advised guests to plan their commute in advance, as parking around the venue is limited and there is no parking inside the premises. Public transport options such as buses (10, 27, 28, 66, C18, C4, X28) and the M2 metro line, which stops at Oud Metha or Deira City Centre, offer convenient access.

Tickets are available starting from $26.92, with the event open to audiences aged 10 and above. Food and beverage services will be available at the venue on a paid basis, though only popcorn and water purchased on-site will be allowed inside the auditorium. Guests are requested not to bring outside food and to consume other snacks near the designated pantry area.
