ABU DHABI – Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has announced the nationwide launch of Voices of Unity, an initiative inviting everyone who calls the UAE home to sing the National Anthem together on 2 December at 11am.

The call was shared via his official page on X, reflecting a national invitation to take part in a collective expression of unity as the country celebrates Eid Al Etihad.

The campaign encourages people to step outside their homes, workplaces, schools, and public spaces to join one shared voice symbolising harmony, pride, and belonging.

One nation, one voice

The message posted by Sheikh Abdullah read: “On December 2nd, at 11 AM… We sing the national anthem united,” accompanied by the campaign hashtags. The initiative aims to create a powerful echo across every street, school, mall, office, and community space across all seven emirates, fostering a shared national moment symbolising unity, pride, and national identity.

How will residents join?

To encourage maximum participation, the UAE has provided the anthem transliterated phonetically in Arabic and English, the two most widely spoken languages in the country. This allows residents of diverse nationalities to confidently join in singing the anthem, reinforcing the essence of inclusion and shared future.

It highlights the belief that national pride is not limited to nationality, but shared through unity and participation.
