Asia Cup 2025 in UAE: Match schedule and timings revealed for Dubai and Abu Dhabi
India and Pakistan placed in same group alongside UAE, Oman
DUBAI: The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially announced that the Asia Cup 2025 will take place in the United Arab Emirates from 9 to 28 September 2025, with matches hosted across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The confirmation was made by ACC President Mohsin Naqvi, who also chairs the Pakistan Cricket Board, following the ACC’s Annual General Meeting in Dhaka.

Asia Cup 2025 in UAE
This edition of the T20 Asia Cup will feature eight teams: five ACC full members – India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan – along with UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong, who earned qualification through the 2024 ACC Premier Cup.
Group Stage fixtures
The group phase begins on 9 September with Afghanistan vs Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi. The blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for 14 September at Dubai International Stadium, expected to be a sell-out event. Group A includes India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman, while Group B features Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong.

- India vs UAE on 10 Sep in Dubai
- Pakistan vs UAE on 17 Sep in Dubai
- Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka on 13 Sep in Abu Dhabi
- Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan on 18 Sep in Abu Dhabi
The group matches will conclude on 19 September with India vs Oman.
Super Four and Final
The Super Four stage will be played between 20 and 26 September, with five out of six matches set in Dubai. The top two teams from each group will qualify, and teams will play crossover matches.
Key Super Four fixtures:
- B1 vs B2 on 20 Sep
- A1 vs A2 on 21 Sep
- A1 vs B2 on 24 Sep
- A1 vs B1 on 26 Sep
The final will be held on 28 September in Dubai, promising a thrilling end to what is shaping up to be a high-intensity tournament.
