UAE flights update: Check latest Emirates, Etihad, flydubai and Air Arabia schedules
Peak summer travel prompts airports to advise early arrivals
DUBAI – Travellers flying to and from the UAE are being urged to confirm their flight status before leaving for the airport as Emirates, Etihad Airways and Air Arabia continue to adjust selected Gulf services while airports handle one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
Flight operations across Dubai International Airport, Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi and other UAE airports remain largely normal, with most services operating as scheduled. However, selected flights to Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia continue to be affected by operational changes, prompting airlines to advise passengers to monitor the latest updates through official channels.
The latest schedule changes coincide with the summer holiday rush, with thousands of residents and tourists departing for international destinations. Airport authorities are encouraging travellers to plan ahead, arrive early and allow extra time for airport procedures.
Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways has cancelled selected services between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain because of operational reasons.
The airline has also cancelled:
- EY653 – Abu Dhabi to Kuwait
- EY654 – Kuwait to Abu Dhabi
Etihad said affected passengers are being assisted with alternative travel arrangements and advised customers to ensure their contact details are updated to receive SMS and email notifications.
Emirates
Emirates continues to operate the majority of its network but has confirmed changes on selected Bahrain and Kuwait services.

flydubai has not announced any major operational changes and continues to operate scheduled services across its network.
The airline advises passengers to check flight status before travelling, complete online check-in where available and allow additional time to reach the airport because of heavier passenger traffic during the holiday season.
International airlines
Several international carriers continue to adjust services across the Gulf.
Oman Air has warned of delays on some flights because of airspace restrictions and operational challenges.
IndiGo has advised passengers to expect possible schedule changes and to verify flight status before travelling.
Saudia has updated cancellations and schedule changes through its reservation system.
Qatar Airways continues to suspend passenger services to Bahrain, Erbil and Kuwait.
Other carriers maintaining service changes include British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Air Canada, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, ITA Airways, Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, Aegean Airlines, Air Astana, KLM, Philippine Airlines, while Turkish Airlines has resumed Dubai and Abu Dhabi services but continues to suspend flights to Iran. Wizz Air expects to resume Dubai and Abu Dhabi operations during September.
Possible delays
Although UAE airports remain fully operational, airlines continue to reroute some flights around affected airspace.
Passengers may experience:
