Passengers urged not to travel to airport without confirmed bookings
DUBAI – Air travel across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is gradually returning to normal as major airlines have resumed operations with limited schedules.
Carriers including Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai and Air Arabia have restarted selected flights after regional airspace restrictions began easing.
Airlines and airports are urging passengers not to travel without confirmed bookings and to check flight status before heading to the airport. Aviation authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, with flight schedules subject to change depending on operational and safety conditions.
Routes are being restored gradually across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas while airlines prioritise operational readiness and passenger safety.
Emirates
Dubai-based Emirates has resumed a reduced global schedule from Dubai International Airport, reconnecting the UAE with dozens of international destinations.
Flights are operating to cities across Europe including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Rome, Madrid and Amsterdam, as well as to Asian destinations such as Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok and Singapore.
The airline is also operating long-haul services to North America, including New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto, alongside routes to Australia including Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
Passengers transiting through Dubai are only accepted if their connecting flight is operating.
Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways is operating a limited schedule from Abu Dhabi to key international destinations between March 10 and March 12.
Outbound flights include services to Jeddah, Toronto, Cairo, New York, Riyadh, Malé, Bangkok, Phuket, Hanoi, Colombo and London.
Additional departures are scheduled to Moscow, Milan, Paris, Frankfurt, Zurich and several cities in India including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.
Inbound flights arriving in Abu Dhabi include services from Tokyo, Paris, Manchester, Zurich, Rome, London, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Male.
The airline has advised passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking.
flydubai
flydubai is operating flights across parts of its network with a reduced schedule while airspace restrictions remain in place.
Passengers booked to travel between February 28 and March 31 may rebook their flights without penalty within 30 days of their original travel date.
The airline said temporary rerouting of flights may lead to longer travel times or extended transit periods in Dubai.
Customers connecting through Dubai will only be permitted to travel if their onward flight is confirmed and operating.
Air Arabia
Air Arabia has resumed a limited number of flights from the UAE to destinations across Asia, Africa and Europe.
Flights are currently operating from Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah to cities including Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo and Istanbul.
The airline’s South Asian network includes multiple destinations across Pakistan and India, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
Services are also operating to Dhaka, Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Colombo and Bangkok.
Passengers affected by cancellations may choose between a free date change, a credit voucher or a full refund.

Travellers across the UAE have been advised to check flight status before leaving for the airport, as schedules may still change depending on operational conditions.
Passengers should ensure their contact details are updated in airline booking systems to receive important notifications.
Only passengers with confirmed tickets or official rebooked flights are advised to travel to the airport.
Airlines have also encouraged customers to use official websites, mobile applications and authorised travel agents to manage bookings, request refunds or modify travel plans while aviation operations continue to stabilise.
