Eid Al Etihad: 54 equestrians celebrate UAE National Day in first Dubai Horse Ride
Royal Stallions lead the ride across Al Ruwayyah Desert tracks
DUBAI – A group of Dubai residents commemorated the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad with a striking desert horse ride.
Fifty-four riders, representing diverse backgrounds, joined the inaugural equestrian community ride of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) on Sunday, the final day of the fitness initiative.
The event celebrated the “Spirit of the Union” with participants carrying the UAE flag across Al Ruwayyah Desert Tracks.
Dubai Horse Ride 2025
The ride, named ‘Dubai Horse Ride 2025,’ was led by members of Royal Stallions, Dubai’s first equestrian community of Indian expats from Kerala.

Riders were supported by trainers from Nar Horse Riding Stable, who oversaw the procession to ensure safety and coordination.
Participants wore customised T-shirts for the event and recorded an anthem to accompany a video capturing the salute against the desert morning skyline.
A celebration of unity
The event brought together men, women, and children of various nationalities, combining fitness, tradition, and national pride.
It shows a commitment to diversity, family participation, and community engagement through equestrian sports in the country. Riders expressed gratitude and respect for the nation, symbolising shared progress and a collective sense of belonging under the UAE’s vision.
