UAE travel alert: Emirates extends Dubai flights suspension until March 7
Transit travellers only allowed if connecting flights are operational
DUBAI – Emirates has announced that all scheduled flights to and from Dubai will remain suspended until 2359hrs UAE time on 7 March, following airspace closures affecting the region.
The airline is operating a limited number of flights, prioritising passengers with earlier confirmed bookings.
Transit passengers will only be accepted if their connecting flight is operational.
Travel advisory
Passengers are strongly advised not to proceed to Dubai airports unless they have received direct confirmation from Emirates or hold a valid confirmed booking for one of the operating flights. This measure is aimed at avoiding congestion and ensuring passenger safety during the temporary suspension period.

Limited operations
Despite the suspension, Emirates continues to operate a restricted flight schedule to accommodate customers with earlier bookings. Priority is being given to travellers who had booked prior to the suspension announcement. Transit passengers in Dubai will only be permitted to continue their journey if their connecting flight is confirmed to be operating.
