Dubai Ride 2025 returns: Routes, registration details and speed laps explained
Sixth edition welcomes riders of all ages and fitness levels
DUBAI – The sixth edition of Dubai Ride presented by DP World will take place on Sunday, 2 November 2025, as one of the flagship events of Dubai Fitness Challenge.
Thousands of cyclists are expected to take over the city’s streets, pedalling past some of its most recognisable landmarks in an annual celebration of community and fitness.
Riders of all ages and abilities can take part, with two distinct routes to choose from. Every registered participant will receive an official bib, available for collection at the Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village in Zabeel Park between 29 October and 1 November. Helmets are mandatory for all cyclists, and lights are recommended for those starting early before sunrise.
Routes
The Downtown Family Route covers 4km through Downtown Dubai, offering a flat and accessible loop past landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Opera. This option is designed for families, beginners, and cyclists of all abilities.
The Sheikh Zayed Road Route spans 12km, taking riders past the Museum of the Future and Dubai Water Canal, with a climb over the Dubai Canal Bridge. More suitable for experienced cyclists, this route allows participants to enjoy an extraordinary traffic-free ride on one of Dubai’s busiest highways. Riders of determination are fully supported, with adapted bicycles, hand cycles, and tandem bikes available.
Speed Laps
For seasoned cyclists, the Dubai Ride Speed Laps return on the 12km route.
Participants must maintain a minimum average pace of 30 km/h and use racing bikes capable of sustaining this speed. After completing the laps, they can rejoin family and friends for the main ride.
When and how to register?
Registrations for both Dubai Ride and Speed Laps open on Monday, 6 October 2025. Riders can choose their preferred starting point, with five available on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Dubai Ride is organised by Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Sports Council, with DP World as presenting partner. Supported by multiple corporate partners, it remains one of the city’s most anticipated mass fitness events.
