UAE landmark also features in Asia’s leading attractions list

ABU DHABI – Qasr Al Watan has been recognised in Trip.Best’s Top 100 Global Attractions & Experiences 2026 and the Top 100 Attractions & Experiences in Asia 2026, published by Trip.com.

The rankings are based on visitor reviews and performance indicators, highlighting the presidential palace’s growing reputation as one of the UAE’s leading cultural and heritage destinations.

The recognition places the landmark among the world’s most sought-after visitor experiences for the coming year.

Qasr Al Watan

One of the palace’s standout attractions is the Great Hall, celebrated for its traditional Arabian architecture and one of the world’s largest central domes. Visitors can also explore the Spirit of Collaboration chamber, where meetings of the Federal Supreme Council, the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council are held. The chamber is home to an ornate chandelier crafted from 350,000 crystal pieces.

The Presidential Gifts exhibition showcases gifts presented to UAE leaders by foreign delegations during official state visits, while the Presidential Banquet hall offers an insight into Emirati hospitality traditions through a collection of more than 100,000 delicate serveware pieces.

Visitor experience

The Qasr Al Watan Library preserves more than 50,000 works documenting the region’s literary and scholarly heritage. Meanwhile, the Golden Ink exhibition features rare Arabic and Islamic manuscripts that reflect the richness of the region’s intellectual history.

Visitors can also watch the Military Music Show every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:30 pm, alongside the daily Palace in Motion light and sound show at 7:30 pm. The evening spectacle brings the UAE’s history, present and future to life, adding another dimension to an experience that blends culture, history, art and entertainment.
