DUBAI is about to welcome another major international fashion name.

Skims – the billion-dollar shapewear and lifestyle brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian – is making its first physical retail debut in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with a new store at Mall of the Emirates.

While no official opening date has been confirmed, Skims branding has already appeared on storefront hoardings inside the mall, hinting at an imminent launch. This marks the label’s first-ever brick-and-mortar presence not just in the UAE, but globally.

What will be available at Skim Dubai?

Known for its inclusive sizing, neutral tones, and sculpting silhouettes, Skims will offer its signature pieces across shapewear, loungewear, swimwear, and activewear.

The Dubai store will also include the recently launched men’s collection, which features comfortable everyday basics with a minimalist aesthetic.

Among the most anticipated items is the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap – a face mask infused with collagen yarns and designed to shape the jawline.

Retailing for $48, it became a viral sensation and sold out within 24 hours of release.

Where has Skims been available?

Before this retail rollout, Skims was available in the region exclusively via Ounass, the luxury online platform operated by Al Tayer Group. Al Tayer is also behind high-end labels like Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdale’s, and Saint Laurent in the Gulf.

Skims made its Middle East online debut in December 2020, with Al Tayer Group continuing to expand the brand’s footprint by now bringing it in-store to one of Dubai’s most visited shopping destinations.

Why Dubai?

The choice of Mall of the Emirates – a retail hub known for its upscale brand portfolio and high footfall – reflects Skims’ strategic entry into a market primed for luxury spend.

With retail sales in the UAE forecast to hit $95 billion by the end of 2025, and with Dubai’s reputation as a shopping destination, the move positions Skims to reach a diverse and fashion-forward audience.

While Kardashian herself has yet to issue a formal statement, the soft branding launch inside the mall says it all – Dubai is the first to experience Skims in real life, with the Middle East leading the brand’s global retail expansion.
