UAE President meets victims recovering from Iranian attacks, praises national solidarity
Several patients discharged after recovery following emergency medical care
ABU DHABI – UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited a number of individuals injured in the recent Iranian attacks who are currently receiving treatment in hospital, wishing them a speedy recovery and a safe return to their families.
During the visit, the President spent time with the injured and their relatives, offering words of reassurance and expressing his concern for their wellbeing. The patients included residents from the UAE, Sudan, Iran, Pakistan and India, reflecting the diverse communities that make up the country.
He emphasised that those affected are considered part of one family in the UAE, affirming that the safety and security of all residents remain a top priority for the nation’s leadership.
Hospital visit
The President engaged in cordial conversations with the injured and their families, enquiring about their health and the care they were receiving. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts by the leadership to support those impacted by the recent attacks and to ensure they receive the best possible treatment.
During the discussions, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed reassured those present that the UAE stands firmly with all those affected. He highlighted that the country’s leadership places great importance on protecting the wellbeing of citizens and residents alike, particularly during challenging circumstances.
Patients and their families expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a gesture that reflected the close connection between the UAE leadership and the community. Many also conveyed their gratitude for the medical care and support provided since the incident.
The UAE President noted that the events of recent days have revealed the strength and character of UAE society. He praised the solidarity demonstrated by residents and the strong sense of responsibility shown across the community.
According to Sheikh Mohamed, the cooperation of the public with safety guidance issued by the relevant authorities has played a significant role in supporting national response efforts. The adherence to these instructions, he said, has helped ensure the effectiveness of measures introduced to protect the public.
Authorities have repeatedly stressed the importance of following official guidance and remaining vigilant, particularly during periods of heightened security concerns.
Medical care
During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed also expressed his appreciation for the dedication and professionalism of medical teams working to treat those injured in the attacks.
He praised the doctors, nurses and healthcare staff for continuing to provide the highest levels of care to patients under demanding circumstances. Their efforts, he noted, reflect the UAE’s commitment to maintaining world-class healthcare services even during emergencies.
Medical teams have been closely monitoring the condition of those admitted to hospital, ensuring that each patient receives specialised treatment and continuous support throughout their recovery.
Hospital authorities confirmed that a number of the injured have already been discharged after completing treatment and making a full recovery. Others continue to receive medical care while their conditions are monitored by healthcare professionals.
The UAE President was accompanied during the visit by several senior officials, including Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President.
A number of other senior officials were also present during the hospital visit as the leadership continued to monitor the situation and oversee efforts aimed at supporting those affected.
