Dubai Airport cuts parking rates for 21 days to ease summer travel
Discounted parking across all DXB terminals until 30 June
DUBAI: With the peak summer travel season underway, Dubai International Airport (DXB) is enhancing passenger convenience by introducing reduced parking rates across all terminals.
Starting 10 June and valid until 30 June 2025, the airport is offering discounted long-term parking rates to support an expected surge of over 250,000 daily travellers.
The limited-time offer applies to Terminal 1 Car Park B, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3. Guests can now park for three days at Dh100, seven days for Dh200, and 14 days for Dh300. These reduced rates are designed to provide added value and greater ease for families, solo travellers, and business flyers during one of the busiest periods of the year.
Seamless navigation
Alongside the parking discount, DXB continues to promote the use of its digital wayfinding tool, DXB Express Maps. Passengers can access real-time navigation across the airport by scanning a QR code displayed on flight information screens. The feature allows users to locate their boarding gates, explore dining and shopping options, or find nearby facilities with ease.
This initiative is part of Dubai Airports' broader push to enhance the overall travel experience. With world-class lounges, premium dining, wellness centres, and a wide range of retail outlets, DXB aims to make the airport journey part of the holiday itself.
Summer travel tips
To further assist passengers, Dubai Airports has issued a series of travel tips:
- Emirates passengers can take advantage of home, early, and self-check-in services, as well as multiple city check-in points.
- Travellers flying with other airlines are encouraged to arrive no earlier than three hours before departure, and to use online check-in where available.
- Children aged 12 and above can speed up the immigration process by using Smart Gates.
- Travellers are advised to weigh luggage at home, prepare all travel documents in advance, and be ready for security checks to save time.
- Spare batteries and power banks must be carried only in hand luggage and should be packed correctly due to safety regulations.
Metro access & road advice
Passengers are also encouraged to use the Dubai Metro to access Terminals 1 and 3. Metro operating hours are generally extended during public holidays or peak travel seasons. Those planning to drive should allocate extra time to navigate potential traffic on the roads leading to the airport.
For visitors picking up arriving passengers, DXB recommends using its designated car parks or valet services for a more comfortable experience. These services are part of the reduced-rate parking offer, providing greater convenience for those not flying but visiting the airport.
Enhanced accessibility
DXB continues to prioritise inclusivity with services tailored for People of Determination. Accessibility routes are clearly marked, and trained staff wearing Sunflower pins are available to support passengers wearing Sunflower Lanyards. Additionally, a dedicated Assisted Travel Lounge is operational at Terminal 2 to ensure a smooth airport experience for all.
Guests are encouraged to explore DXB’s wide-ranging amenities after check-in. From international restaurants and duty-free shopping to in-terminal hotels and exclusive lounges, the airport caters to varied preferences, ensuring a relaxing experience before boarding.
