Sharjah records Dh4.6 billion in property deals across 120 areas
Sales activity spans residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural properties
SHARJAH – Sharjah’s real estate market recorded transactions worth Dh4.6 billion in August 2026, with activity spanning residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural properties across the emirate.
The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department recorded 9,139 transactions during the month, while the total traded area in sales transactions reached 12.5 million square feet. The figures highlight continued activity across Sharjah’s property market, supported by the emirate’s regulatory and legislative framework.

The department’s data showed that ownership certificate transactions accounted for the largest share at 4,804, representing 52.6 per cent of the total. Title deed transactions followed with 2,658, or 29.1 per cent, while initial sales contracts stood at 978, representing 10.7 per cent.
Sales activity
Mortgage transactions reached 430, accounting for 4.7 per cent of the total and carrying a combined value of Dh654.2 million. Valuation transactions numbered 269, representing 2.9 per cent.
Sales transactions were recorded across 120 areas throughout Sharjah’s cities and regions. These included 1,220 land transactions, 589 transactions involving subdivided units and 555 involving built-in land. Two transactions concerned under-construction land, while one involved agricultural land.

The emirate recorded 2,367 sales transactions, including 1,676 in Sharjah City. Muwaileh Commercial led the city with 278 sales, followed by Al Sajaa Industrial with 174, Al Menhaz with 172 and Al Khan with 144.
In terms of trading value, Al Menhaz ranked first at Dh610.9 million, followed by Tilal at Dh356.8 million, Al Waaha at Dh349.4 million and Al Sajaa Industrial at Dh332.5 million.
Biggest deals
Industrial Area 4 recorded the highest-value real estate sale of the month, involving land worth Dh55 million. Al Khan recorded August’s highest mortgage transaction, involving built-in land valued at Dh100 million.
In Sharjah’s Central Region, 555 sales transactions were registered. Industrial 2 accounted for the largest number with 180 transactions and also recorded the highest trading value in the region at Dh355 million.
Khor Fakkan City recorded 91 sales transactions, led by Hay Al Mudeife 1 with 45. The area also posted the city’s highest trading value at Dh52.8 million.
In Kalba City, 45 sales transactions were recorded, with Al Tareef 5 leading at 16 transactions and posting the highest trading value at Dh11.5 million.
