NCEMA reassures residents as UAE confirms no security threat after missile alerts
National systems remain on high alert
ABU DHABI – The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has confirmed that the situation across the UAE remains stable following precautionary alerts issued earlier on Sunday.
The authority reassured residents that national monitoring and response systems are operating around the clock with a high level of readiness. It also stressed that there is no cause for concern at present.
According to NCEMA, the missile threats detected earlier in the day were outside the UAE's borders. The authority said the precautionary alerts and warning messages formed part of the country's proactive approach to handling potential developments, even when the likelihood of any direct impact remains low.
Continuous monitoring
NCEMA said the measures reflect the preparedness of the UAE's national emergency management system and its commitment to protecting public safety and maintaining stability. Working in coordination with its strategic partners, the authority said relevant agencies continue to closely monitor developments and are prepared to respond immediately if required.
