DUBAI – Ajman’s real estate sector recorded a strong start to the year, with valuation transactions rising sharply during the first quarter.

A total of 961 transactions were registered, reaching a combined value of Dh2.92 billion, reflecting a 63% increase compared to the same period last year.

The figures underline continued investor interest and steady market activity across the emirate.

According to the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, valuation activity for real estate project units also saw significant growth. A total of 293 transactions were recorded in this segment, amounting to Dh188.2 million, marking a 71% increase year-on-year.

The quarterly data points to sustained momentum in Ajman’s property market, supported by a competitive investment environment and flexible strategies aimed at attracting investors. Authorities highlighted that these factors have contributed to strengthening confidence and boosting transaction volumes.

Key segments

Investor-linked transactions remained a major contributor, with 434 real estate valuation deals tied to Golden Residency applications. These transactions were valued at Dh767.7 million, reflecting continued demand from long-term investors seeking residency-linked opportunities.

Commercial properties dominated the valuation landscape, with 115 transactions reaching Dh1.6 billion, up 42% compared to the same period last year. Residential properties followed, with valuations totalling Dh823.8 million, while industrial assets accounted for Dh285.6 million.

The distribution of transactions across segments indicates balanced growth, with commercial assets leading in value while residential and industrial sectors continue to contribute steadily to overall activity.
