Weather alert: Thick fog to hit UAE as first Ramadan fast begins tomorrow
Reduced visibility expected across western regions early Wednesday
DUBAI – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning for dense fog and sharply reduced visibility across several western regions of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Motorists are being cautioned as the fog is expected to coincide with the start of the first Ramadan fast tomorrow, Wednesday (February 18).
Drivers should anticipate difficult conditions on major roads, with visibility dropping to near zero in some areas from 21:30 Tuesday night until 10:00 AM Wednesday.

The NCM has urged all motorists to exercise extreme caution. Drivers are advised to maintain safe distances, reduce speed according to posted limits, and follow all traffic safety guidelines while travelling through affected areas.
