DUBAI – Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 has been serving up exceptional flavours at unbeatable value across the city through the DSS Dh10 Dish initiative.
With only two weeks left before the curtain falls on 31st August, food lovers still have the chance to embark on this value-packed culinary journey. Featuring more than 190 unique restaurants and over 600 participating outlets, the DSS-exclusive dishes are priced at just Dh10, promising big flavours for small change.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the promotion is part of the citywide DSS programme that has been lighting up the summer with thousands of offers and activities. The curated line-up of signature dishes offers an appetising snapshot of Dubai’s diverse dining scene. From sizzling street food and aromatic curries to indulgent desserts and refreshing iced treats, there is something to satisfy every palate. Diners need no vouchers or bookings – simply ask for the Dh10 dish.
Karama’s bold flavours
The beating heart of Dubai’s food culture, Karama is a treasure trove for lovers of authentic, home-style cooking. Among the highlights are Mumbai Junction Restaurant and Manbhavan Premium Thali Restaurant, which serve hearty vegetarian meals. Golden Biryani Restaurant and Golden Sands Restaurant & Café offer fragrant biryanis, while street food enthusiasts can explore Banarasi Chaat and Kulfi Wala. Sweet falooda at The Falooda Shop, hearty Punjabi bites at Pind da Dhaba, North Indian favourites at Sthan, and comforting classics at Its Desi add to the vibrant mix.
