'A Dubai Invite' offers residents rewards worth over Dh3,000 for inviting loved ones
Hotels, attractions and restaurants join citywide incentive programme
DUBAI – Residents in Dubai now have an added incentive to encourage family members and friends from overseas to visit the emirate.
The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has launched 'A Dubai Invite', a new city ambassador programme offering exclusive rewards worth more than Dh3,000 to eligible residents whose nominated guests travel to Dubai during the campaign period.
Running from July 20 until October 31, 2026, the initiative features hotel stays, dining experiences, attraction tickets and lifestyle offers from a range of participating brands. Rewards will be issued once DET verifies the visitor's arrival through authorised government systems.

How it works
Residents and UAE nationals aged 18 or above with a valid Emirates ID can participate by submitting their visitors' details through the programme's online nomination form before they arrive in Dubai. Participants may nominate as many visitors as they wish, although only five nominations can be submitted at one time, with additional entries allowed through separate submissions.
The nominated guests must be non-UAE residents travelling on a valid tourist visa or be eligible for a visa on arrival. They can enter Dubai by air, sea or road, provided they arrive between July 20 and October 31, 2026.
Once a visitor's arrival has been automatically verified, eligible residents will receive an email within 72 hours containing their rewards package and instructions on redeeming the offers. Unless otherwise stated, the benefits remain valid until December 31, 2026.
Exclusive rewards
Each successful nomination unlocks a benefits package valued at more than Dh3,000, covering a wide range of hospitality, dining and leisure experiences across Dubai.
Among the participating offers, Meliá Desert Palm is providing a 45 percent discount on rooms, suites and villas, alongside a Dh100 spa credit per person and a Dh100 food and beverage credit per stay.
Guests staying at ME Dubai by Meliá can enjoy 35 percent off the best available room rate, a complimentary room upgrade, free stays for children under 12, and 35 percent discounts on all-day dining, in-room dining, spa treatments and laundry services.
Visitors booking accommodation at Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, W Dubai - Mina Seyahi or The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi will receive the full value of their room booking back as resort credit to spend on selected restaurants and spa experiences.
Participating IHG Hotels & Resorts are offering guests a complimentary third night when they book two nights, together with restaurant discounts of up to 30 percent at selected outlets.
The rewards package also includes benefits from attractions and lifestyle partners, including Careem and Hala, although participating brands and offers remain subject to availability and may change during the campaign.
Eligibility rules
Residents can receive a maximum of three reward packages during the campaign, regardless of the number of visitors they nominate. Each visitor can only be nominated once. If another resident has already registered the same person, any subsequent nomination for that visitor will not qualify.
Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights, visas, accommodation and other travel expenses. The programme does not cover visa applications or travel costs.
Benefits are only issued after DET confirms that the nominated guest satisfies all eligibility requirements and has arrived in Dubai within the campaign period.
How to register
Registration for the programme closes on September 30, 2026, although nominated visitors may still arrive in Dubai until October 31, 2026 to qualify for the rewards.
Residents are not required to notify DET when their guests arrive, as verification is carried out automatically through authorised government systems. Following successful verification, eligible participants receive an email explaining how to redeem their exclusive hotel, dining, attraction and lifestyle offers before the benefits expire at the end of December, unless individual terms specify otherwise.
