DUBAI – Dubai’s property market has continued its remarkable run, recording Dh21 billion ($5.7 billion) worth of transactions in the past seven days despite uncertainty across the Middle East.

The latest figures from Dubai Land Department underline the emirate’s resilience and sustained appeal among local and international investors. The figures were announced by the Dubai Media Office on X on Saturday amid wider regional tensions linked to the conflict involving the United States and Iran.

The latest activity suggests investor confidence in Dubai remains robust despite the complex geopolitical backdrop. The scale of business completed over a single week highlights how the emirate’s real estate market continues to attract significant attention.

Growth trend

The latest weekly performance aligns with Dubai’s broader property expansion story. In the first quarter of 2026, total real estate transactions reached Dh252 billion, marking a 31 percent increase year-on-year.

Demand for high-end properties across the emirate also continues to gather pace. A five-bedroom villa at The Collection in Al Barari recently secured a Dh14 million lease agreement over two years, setting the highest rental transaction recorded within the community.

Fresh projects

New investments are also adding momentum to the market. Earlier this week, Dubai Holding Asset Management announced a $185 million investment, equivalent to Dh680 million, for a new residential development.

The project, named Lantana Hills, will rise in Dubai Science Park in Al Barsha South and include 390 private townhouses featuring three and four-bedroom family homes. The development will include landscaped spaces, community facilities and connectivity to schools, healthcare centres and retail destinations.

Separately, Dubai Land Department recently launched the second phase of the Emirati Real Estate Business Incubator Programme. Registration for UAE nationals remains open until May 25, with plans to support 25 participants seeking to establish real estate brokerage firms in Dubai.
