ATM 2025: Regional airlines to reveal future of flight in Dubai
Over 2,800 exhibitors from 161 nations expected at Dubai showcase at four-day event
DUBAI: Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 is set to take centre stage in Dubai from 28 April to 1 May, bringing together the aviation world’s biggest names.
The Middle East’s largest travel and tourism event will showcase the latest breakthroughs in aviation, with a strong spotlight on innovation, technology, and sustainability.
Travel professionals can expect a dynamic line-up of airlines unveiling futuristic in-flight experiences, new route announcements, and game-changing tech.
This year, the show is expected to attract over 55,000 visitors and more than 2,800 exhibitors from 161 countries, making it the largest edition to date. The surge in global interest is clear, with over 52% of attendees coming from outside the Middle East. Iran returns to the show after a 12-year hiatus with seven tourism firms, while countries like Armenia and India are making big pushes – India’s pavilion has expanded by 41 percent, reflecting the country’s booming travel sector.
Airlines at ATM 2025
Emirates Airline, the UAE’s flagship carrier, will lead the aviation display with immersive showcases of its upgraded A380 and 777 cabins. Visitors can experience the luxurious in-flight spa and gourmet services that define Emirates' premium travel experience. With over 150 destinations worldwide, Emirates will also highlight new routes to Asia, Europe, and Africa as part of its expanding global footprint.
Qatar Airways, consistently ranked among the world’s top airlines, will return to ATM 2025 with its award-winning Qsuite business class and advanced AI-powered in-flight services. Attendees can explore innovations such as biometric check-ins and RFID luggage tracking, as well as new destinations across the Americas, Asia, and Europe, designed to further enhance connectivity.
Etihad Airways will present its suite of cabins including The Residence, Business, and Economy. Its Boeing 787 Dreamliner and A380 fleet will be at the forefront, along with insights into its sustainability efforts and tech-enhanced customer experience. The Abu Dhabi-based airline will also announce new routes across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
New entrants and expansion
Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s ambitious new carrier, will make its ATM debut with its A320neo and A321neo aircraft. It aims to disrupt the market with sustainability-focused services and a futuristic passenger journey. The airline plans to showcase innovations that will shape its identity as a next-generation Gulf carrier.
Saudi Airlines (Saudia) will spotlight its expanding network and enhanced passenger services. The airline’s latest aircraft and upgrades to inflight comfort will be front and centre, alongside its efforts to support tourism growth and business travel across the Kingdom.
Dubai-based flydubai will focus on its customer-first approach with new travel classes, upgraded in-flight entertainment, and network expansion into emerging markets.
Flynas, another Saudi low-cost carrier, will showcase its cost-effective travel solutions, fleet growth, and loyalty programmes designed for frequent regional flyers.
Technology and trends
ATM 2025 will feature a major upgrade in its technology section. The ATM Travel Tech area has grown by 23% this year and includes a brand-new Start-up and Innovation Zone. Visitors can explore cutting-edge AI tools, smart travel planning solutions, and immersive VR-powered experiences.
Key industry players such as Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Agoda, and dnata will share future-forward insights on the event’s main Future Stage. With 185 speakers across 68 sessions, topics will range from sustainable aviation and smart tourism to customer loyalty and the future of airline retail.
This year’s theme, “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” will be reflected in every corner of the show. From next-gen in-flight comforts to biometrics and virtual check-ins, ATM 2025 offers a front-row seat to the aviation industry’s rapid evolution.
