Four major events of Dubai Fitness Challenge promise record participation across the city
DUBAI – Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025 is gearing up for a record-breaking month with four flagship events drawing residents and visitors into a citywide movement of health and community.
This year’s highlights include the Dubai Ride, Dubai Run, Dubai Stand Up Paddle (SUP), and the all-new Dubai Yoga, bringing together people of every age and ability to embrace the ‘Find Your Challenge’ spirit.
Pedal power on Sheikh Zayed Road
The excitement begins on Sunday, 2 November, when thousands of cyclists gather for Dubai Ride presented by DP World. Riders can take the family-friendly 4-km route through Downtown Dubai or tackle the 12-km course along iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa and Museum of the Future.
For seasoned riders, Speed Laps from 5:00–6:00 am offer a thrilling 12-km ride at a minimum average speed of 30 km/h. The event features special access for People of Determination, ensuring inclusivity for all.
Last year saw 37,130 participants, an 85% rise since the first edition.
Paddle adventure at Hatta
The breathtaking Dubai Stand Up Paddle presented by RTA follows on 8–9 November at Hatta Dam. Expanded to two full days, the third edition combines fitness with adventure and scenic tranquillity. Participants can enjoy free paddleboarding, kayaking, and sunset yoga sessions. Equipment, expert trainers, and adaptive options for People of Determination are all provided.
Free shuttle services will operate from One Central near Dubai World Trade Centre, making it easier for participants to experience the Hatta escape.
The world’s largest community run
The Dubai Run presented by Mai Dubai returns on 23 November, transforming Sheikh Zayed Road into the world’s largest free community fun run. With 278,000 runners in 2024, participation has grown by 297% since its debut.
Two routes are available: a 10-km challenge finishing at DIFC Gate Building, and a 5-km family route concluding near Dubai Mall. Dedicated start zones ensure that runners of all abilities, including People of Determination, can join the event safely.
Sunset yoga finale
For the first time, DFC 2025 will close with Dubai Yoga at Zabeel Park on 30 November. Thousands of yoga enthusiasts are expected to gather for one of the region’s largest open-air sessions, symbolising mindfulness and balance.

Dedicated areas for families and ladies ensure accessibility, making this event a fitting finale to a month-long celebration of movement and wellbeing.
