Sharjah real estate transactions soar to Dh7 billion as July market surges
Deals jump 61.8 percent as investor confidence strengthens across the emirate
SHARJAH – Sharjah's real estate sector recorded transactions worth Dh7 billion in July 2026, marking a sharp increase of 61.8 percent from Dh4.4 billion in June.
The market completed 9,376 transactions, up 25.3 percent month on month, highlighting sustained momentum across the emirate's property sector. The total area traded through sales transactions reached around 27.2 million square feet, reflecting growing investor confidence and continued demand.
According to the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the strong performance was supported by ongoing infrastructure development, major real estate projects and a legislative environment that continues to attract both regional and international investors.

Market activity
Ownership certificate transactions accounted for the largest share of activity, reaching 4,049 transactions, followed by 3,356 ownership deed transactions. The department also recorded 466 mortgage transactions worth Dh1 billion, alongside 1,185 initial sales contracts and 320 valuation transactions.
Activity extended across 129 areas in the emirate. The market included 1,347 land sales, comprising 895 residential plots, 381 industrial plots and 71 commercial plots. There were also 894 subdivided unit transactions, including 842 apartments, while 643 developed property transactions were completed during the month.
Biggest deals
The highest-value transaction in July was the sale of land in Industrial 4, valued at Dh850 million. The month's largest mortgage transaction was recorded in Al Layyeh, with a value of Dh120 million.
A total of 2,884 sales transactions were completed across the emirate. Sharjah City accounted for 2,091 sales, with Muwaileh Commercial leading in volume with 442 transactions. It was followed by Al Sajaa Industrial with 244 transactions, Hay Hoshi with 203, and Al Khan with 168.
Regional trends
By transaction value within Sharjah City, Al Sajaa Industrial ranked first with Dh715.4 million, followed by Muwaileh Commercial at Dh516.3 million, Al Menhaz at Dh449.5 million, and Al Qulai'aah at Dh365.7 million.
The Central Region recorded 527 sales transactions, with Al Belaida leading in activity through 192 transactions. Industrial 4 registered the highest trading value in the region at Dh908.8 million.
In the Eastern Region, Khor Fakkan recorded 206 transactions, with Al Mudeifi accounting for 159 transactions and Dh218.2 million in trading value. Kalba registered 58 transactions, led by Commercial Sour Kalba with 21 transactions worth Dh5.6 million, while Dibba Al Hisn recorded two transactions, with Hay Al Seeh posting the area's highest trading value at Dh1.2 million.
