DUBAI – Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has unveiled a striking new Airbus A380 livery celebrating its long-standing support of tennis through sponsorship of all four Grand Slam tournaments.

The airline sponsors the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open, highlighting its commitment to promoting the sport globally.

Grand Slam livery

The aircraft design integrates each Grand Slam logo within a tennis ball emblem, with colours inspired by each tournament – Australian Open’s vibrant summer blue, Roland-Garros’ deep red-clay, Wimbledon’s classic green and purple, and the US Open’s bright yellow and blue. The first flight with the special livery landed in Melbourne, Australia, coinciding with the start of this year’s first Grand Slam tournament. Aviation and tennis enthusiasts alike can spot the aircraft on routes to major destinations such as Houston and Sao Paulo.

Sports sponsorships

Emirates’ involvement in tennis extends beyond the Grand Slams. The airline supports the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships as well as top events on the ATP and WTA Tours, bringing world-class tennis experiences to millions of fans worldwide.

Beyond tennis, Emirates has a diverse portfolio of global sports and cultural partnerships. Its sponsorships span horse racing through the Dubai World Cup and Team Godolphin, golf via the DP World Tour, cricket across major ICC events, sailing with Emirates Team New Zealand and SailGP, and basketball with the NBA, Real Madrid, and Beirut Basketball Club.

Global football impact

Emirates also maintains a strong presence in football, appearing on the jerseys of Arsenal FC, Real Madrid CF, AC Milan, S.L. Benfica, Olympique Lyonnais, and as Platinum Partner to Bayern Munich’s first team. The airline has been the title sponsor of The FA Cup for nearly a decade and supports UAE Pro League clubs, including Al Ain FC during the 2025/2026 season.

Through its sponsorships, Emirates connects millions of fans worldwide to shared sporting moments, reflecting its “fly better” philosophy.
