DUBAI: With summer holidays just around the corner and a generous helping of UAE public holidays still in store, flydubai has unveiled a fresh batch of destinations for the warmer months.

From historic port cities to beachside escapes, the Dubai-based carrier is rolling out new routes that span the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa.

This summer’s additions include five brand-new destinations and the return of a popular Italian city to the network.

Whether you're chasing cultural landmarks or coastal relaxation, flydubai’s latest expansion offers something for everyone. Here's what’s new on the map.

Bushehr, Iran

Flights to the southern Iranian port city of Bushehr began on Thursday, March 13, departing from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport. Operating twice weekly, the new route connects UAE residents with one of Iran’s most important cities, known for its energy sector and ancient architectural sites.

Tabriz, Iran

A cultural gem in northwest Iran, Tabriz is now served by flydubai with twice-weekly flights, also launched on March 13. Renowned for its traditional sweets, handwoven carpets and historic bazaars, Tabriz offers visitors a blend of rich heritage and warm hospitality. Flights depart from Terminal 2.

Qeshm, Iran

Separated from the mainland by the Strait of Hormuz, Qeshm Island has become a standout destination for nature and adventure seekers. Home to striking rock formations and vibrant wildlife, flydubai began flying to Qeshm on Friday, March 14. The airline operates three weekly flights, departing from Terminal 2.

Peshawar, Pakistan

From Thursday, May 15, flydubai will operate daily flights to Peshawar, opening a consistent and convenient route to Bacha Khan International Airport. Travellers from the UAE and Gulf region now have easier access to northwest Pakistan via Terminal 2 at DXB.

Pisa, Italy

Returning to the network just in time for the summer holidays, Pisa is back on the flydubai schedule with three weekly flights from Terminal 3. Flights operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing Dubai at 7.25am and arriving at 12.10pm local time. The return flight leaves Pisa at 1.10pm, landing in Dubai at 9.30pm. Visitors can once again experience the iconic Leaning Tower and the surrounding Tuscan charm.

Antalya, Turkey

Part of flydubai’s summer programme, Antalya flights begin on Thursday, June 5, and run daily until Tuesday, September 30. Known for its turquoise waters, ancient ruins and lively resorts, Antalya is one of Turkey’s top coastal destinations. Flights depart from Terminal 2, making Mediterranean escapes easier than ever.

Al Alamein, Egypt

Launching on Saturday, June 7, Al Alamein is flydubai’s newest Egyptian destination. With daily flights running until Sunday, September 7, the scenic coastal town is a prime pick for sunseekers. Flights depart DXB at 8.45am, landing in Egypt at noon local time. Return flights leave at 1pm, arriving in Dubai by 6pm. This route is also served from Terminal 2.

With summer plans taking shape, these new flydubai routes offer more choice and convenience for travellers departing from Dubai. From cultural capitals to beachside bliss, this expanded schedule is your passport to new adventures in 2025.
