New pavilions, rides, shows and upgrades await visitors this season
DUBAI – Global Village, Dubai’s iconic multicultural destination, opens its doors today (Wednesday, October 15) for its much-anticipated 30th season, inviting guests to experience “A More Wonderful World”.
Running until 10 May 2026, the landmark season marks three decades of cultural celebration, entertainment and family fun.
The ever-popular venue continues to grow, now home to over 3,500 shopping outlets, more than 250 dining options, over 40,500 live shows, and 200 rides, games and attractions. With 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures, Season 30 promises an expanded world of discovery for guests from the UAE and beyond.
Here are 15 exciting new additions to explore this season:
Fiesta Street upgrade
The colourful Fiesta Street returns with a major expansion, giving visitors more room to enjoy its bustling kiosks, vibrant lights and diverse street food offerings. The refreshed layout enhances its carnival atmosphere, making it one of the park’s most dynamic dining zones.
Dessert District debut
The former Railway Market is now the Dessert District, a haven for sweet treats and desserts from around the world. Visitors can indulge in ice creams, pastries and confectionery in a beautifully themed setting filled with photo-worthy corners.
Happiness Street glow-up
A favourite among food lovers, Happiness Street has been transformed with a stylish canopy that adds charm and shade to its international street food stalls. The area now feels brighter, livelier and even more welcoming.
New thrill rides at Carnaval
Adventure-seekers can try six new rides this season, including York Bikes, Toronto Tornado, Desert Dashers, Cape Glider, Rio Rocket and The Little Wonderers. Each offers unique thrills for families and adrenaline fans alike.
The Dragon Kingdom launch
One of the headline attractions this year is The Dragon Kingdom, featuring 11 intricately designed themed rooms. Visitors will journey through the mythical world of Blackstone Hollow, solving puzzles to help a dragon regain its powers.
Reimagined Horror Hotel
Previously known as the House of Fear, the Horror Hotel returns with a brand-new look and enhanced scare factor. Guests can expect upgraded effects, realistic sets and spine-tingling surprises at every turn.
Gardens of the World
The new Gardens of the World area stretches from the Egypt pavilion to the Iran pavilion, displaying floral creations and miniature landmarks inspired by global destinations. It promises a scenic walkway perfect for pictures and strolls.
Season 30 cake monument
At the heart of Arabian Square stands a towering Season 30 cake monument, a symbol of Global Village’s 30-year journey. It serves as a delightful photo spot and a tribute to the attraction’s legacy.
Fast Live Spectacular stunt show
A brand-new Fast Live Spectacular show debuts this season, featuring Tokyo-style drifting, motorbike jumps, car stunts, fire effects and high-octane battles between stunt teams.
Global stars on stage
The Main Stage lineup includes international acts such as Retumbar, Red Hot Chili Pipers, Mayumana, Burn the Floor, Dhol Foundation and Swan Lake. Bespoke in-house shows like Boom Bollywood and Haunted House will also return with new choreography and effects.
Fire and light shows
A dazzling new fire and light show debuts beside Dragon Lake, while another captivating light display will illuminate the Main Stage area, enhanced with festoon lighting to create a magical evening atmosphere.
Asia Boulevard rebrand
The Road of Asia has been renamed Asia Boulevard, now showcasing even greater cultural diversity, authentic crafts and vibrant culinary flavours from across the continent.
New kids’ adventure zone
Launching later in the season, The Little Wonderers indoor play area will include climbing frames, slides, tunnels, obstacle courses and ball pits designed for young adventurers.
Passport stamping stations
To celebrate the park’s international diversity, Season 30 passports and special stamping stations have been introduced, allowing visitors to collect stamps from different pavilions as keepsakes of their global journey.
Enhanced digital maps and signage
New Way Finding screens across the park will make navigation simpler than ever, helping visitors explore all 17.2 million square feet of attractions without missing a thing.
Entertainment and global experiences
Global Village will host over 40,500 shows this season, performed by 450 artists from more than 30 nationalities. The Kids Theatre will feature exclusive performances from Care Bears and PJ Masks, while the Falcon Stage, located beside Restaurant Plaza, will remain a hotspot for live acts and community performances.
Over 250 dining venues, including 11 double-storey restaurants at Restaurant Plaza, will serve cuisines from every corner of the world. The diverse culinary scene, combined with cultural retail pavilions, reinforces Global Village’s reputation as Dubai’s melting pot of experiences.
Every Friday and Saturday at 9pm, the skies will light up with the destination’s signature firework displays, keeping the festive mood alive throughout the season.
Enhanced visitor services
This season brings improved parking facilities and clearer directional signage, along with the new digital screens for smoother navigation. Entry tickets can be purchased through the Global Village App, official website or ticketing gates.
The Weekday Ticket remains valid from Sunday to Wednesday (excluding public holidays), while the Any Day Ticket allows flexibility to visit on any day of the week. Tuesdays continue to be dedicated to families and ladies, except during public holidays.
