Dubai to power up 200 ultra-fast EV charging stations
Parkin and e& seal 10-year deal for green mobility expansion
DUBAI – Parkin Company, Dubai’s leading provider of paid public parking facilities, has announced a landmark partnership with charge&go, a subsidiary of Etisalat Services Holding (ESH), part of e&.
The agreement sets the stage for the rollout of 200 ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across Dubai, strengthening the emirate’s green mobility infrastructure.
The collaboration marks a decisive 10-year commitment to accelerate Dubai’s EV future.
New EV charging stations in Dubai
The new direct current (DC) charging stations are scheduled for launch in October 2025 and will reduce charging times to under 30 minutes. Designed for convenient access, the chargers will be installed at strategic destinations, from dense residential communities to major retail and leisure hubs. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, supporting the needs of more than 40,000 EVs already on the roads.
Phase one of the project will see 20 charging stations installed at some of Dubai’s busiest destinations. Over the following twelve months, a total of 200 public and private charging points will become available. The charging network will adopt DC technology, known for its superior speed compared to alternating current (AC) systems, enabling quicker turnaround times for EV users.
The service will integrate seamlessly with Parkin’s mobile application, allowing reservations, real-time charging updates, and secure in-app payment. To ensure fair use, the chargers will follow a strict ‘park and charge’ policy, with bays only available to vehicles while actively charging. This measure will help prevent overstays and unauthorised use of designated spaces.

Parkin, which operates around 212,000 paid parking spaces across the city, aims to blend parking and charging facilities in one streamlined service, reinforcing its role in advancing Dubai’s sustainable mobility landscape.

The agreement builds on a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Parkin and charge&go during the GITEX exhibition in October 2024, one of the world’s largest technology and startup events.
