UAE-Poland travel: Air Arabia launches new non-stop Sharjah-Warsaw Modlin flights
Expanded schedule offers multiple weekly options across three Polish routes
SHARJAH – Air Arabia has launched a new non-stop service connecting Sharjah with Warsaw Modlin Airport, further expanding its footprint in Poland and strengthening air links between the UAE and Europe.
The inaugural flight departed Sharjah International Airport over the weekend and was marked by a welcoming ceremony on arrival at Warsaw Modlin Airport, attended by senior representatives from the airline and airport authorities.
The new route adds to Air Arabia’s steadily growing European network from Sharjah.
Warsaw Modlin service
The Warsaw Modlin service complements Air Arabia’s existing daily flights to Warsaw Chopin Airport, giving passengers direct access to both major gateways serving the Polish capital. Alongside Warsaw, the carrier also operates 10 non-stop flights per week between Sharjah and Krakow.
With all three routes in operation, Air Arabia now offers a total of 24 weekly non-stop flights connecting the UAE and Poland, providing travellers with greater flexibility in scheduling and airport choice.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said the expansion reflects the airline’s long-term commitment to strengthening connectivity with key European markets. He noted that serving both Warsaw airports alongside Krakow offers travellers more choice, convenience and value-driven travel options between the UAE and Poland, while also supporting tourism, business travel and cultural exchange between the two countries.
Jacek Kowalski, President of the Management Board of Warsaw Airport, described the launch of daily flights to Sharjah as an important step in the development of the airport’s route network. He said passengers from the Mazovia region and northern Poland now gain convenient access to one of the Middle East’s most dynamic regions, adding that cooperation with Air Arabia highlights the growing appeal of Warsaw Modlin Airport for international carriers.
European network
From Sharjah, Air Arabia’s European destinations now include Munich, Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, Warsaw Modlin and Prague. The airline operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, known for their efficiency and reliability.
