flydubai expands Prague–Dubai route with 10 weekly flights
Morning flights added on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from October to April
DUBAI: UAE-based low-cost airline flydubai will increase its Prague–Dubai flight frequency to ten times a week during the upcoming winter season.
The expanded schedule will run from early October 2025 to the end of April 2026, offering more travel options for passengers on this popular route.
The announcement, shared by Prague Airport via its official Facebook page, highlights the introduction of new morning departures from Prague every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
New morning flights
These morning flights will complement the airline’s existing daily evening service, enhancing flexibility for passengers travelling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Departures from Prague’s Václav Havel Airport are scheduled for 09:20 AM and will be operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The move reflects growing demand for increased connectivity between the Czech Republic and the UAE, particularly during the busy winter travel period.
Prague to Dubai
flydubai is not the only airline competing for passengers on the Prague–Dubai corridor. Emirates continues to maintain its presence on the route with a daily service using the Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger jet.
Meanwhile, Smartwings is set to resume its winter operations on the same route, also utilising Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Tickets for all these services covering the 2025/2026 winter season are currently on sale.
Alternative destinations
In addition to direct flights to Dubai, travellers bound for the UAE will have access to another option. Starting June, Etihad Airways will begin operating four weekly flights from Prague to Abu Dhabi. Services will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners assigned to the route.
