Beachfront venue earns acclaim for seafood, ambience and coastal views
SHARJAH – Coral Beach Resort Sharjah has announced its recognition at the Hozpitality Group’s Middle East Chef Excellence Awards, F&B Excellence Awards, and Leaders Powerlist 2026.
The resort’s signature beachfront dining destination, Casa Samak Seafood Restaurant, was awarded “Best Sunset Spot of the Year”, highlighting its exceptional seaside dining experience and panoramic Arabian Gulf views.
The achievement celebrates the restaurant’s distinctive coastal setting, fresh seafood offerings, and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.

Team honours
Alongside the restaurant’s achievement, Coral Beach Resort Sharjah also celebrated individual accomplishments from its culinary and hospitality teams. Several professionals from the resort were recognised for their expertise, dedication, and contributions to the food and beverage sector.
The honoured team members include Michael Fernandes, who was featured on the F&B Leader Powerlist, and Abdo Badra, recognised on the Chef Leader Powerlist. Tsering Tamang received the Promising Chef of the Year award (Judges Choice), while Mahesh Chathuranga Ranathunga was named Barista of the Year. Chet Raj Chaudhary was recognised as Banquet Champion of the Year (Judges Choice).
