DUBAI’s hottest shopping extravaganza has officially begun.
The Great Dubai Summer Sale (GDSS), part of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), kicks off today, 18 July, with a 12-hour mega sale offering unbeatable deals, daily surprises, and massive prizes. Running until 10 August, GDSS promises exciting savings at more than 800 top brands across fashion, electronics, homeware, beauty and more.
12-hour mega sale
From 10am to 10pm today, the 12-hour launch event delivers discounts of up to 90% across Majid Al Futtaim malls including Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Me’aisem and My City Centre Al Barsha.
Over 100 local and global brands are participating, giving shoppers the chance to score on fashion, tech, groceries, and beauty products.
Cashback and bonus rewards
Visitors spending Dh300 or more at select malls can spin a prize wheel for instant giveaways. Through the SHARE app, purchases in fashion, dining or accessories can earn 5% cashback. At Mall of the Emirates, shoppers spending Dh2,000 in a single transaction can earn up to 20X SHARE points, further boosting savings.
Million-Dirham prizes
The Shop, Scan and Win promotion continues throughout GDSS. Shoppers spending Dh300 or more citywide can enter a draw to win Dh1 million in cash or a new Nissan Patrol. In addition, Skywards Everyday members will receive 25% bonus Skywards Miles on qualifying purchases. Every Dh100 spent at participating stores also gives a chance to win a share of 1 million Skywards Miles.
