DUBAI: The summer of big savings and bigger prizes continues as Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 launches its second dedicated shopping season: the Great Dubai Summer Sale (GDSS).
Running from 18 July to 10 August, this three-week retail spectacle promises up to 90 per cent discounts, limited-time flash sales, and citywide mega raffles offering cash, luxury cars, and jewellery prizes.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the GDSS campaign is designed to offer unmatched value to residents and visitors alike, making this year’s DSS one of the most rewarding shopping seasons to date.
At the core of the campaign is the Shop, Scan and Win promotion. Customers who spend Dh300 or more at any participating outlet can scan their receipt to enter a draw for a chance to win either Dh1 million in cash or a brand-new Nissan Patrol, the summer’s most highly anticipated grand prize.
Bonus miles and exclusive rewards
GDSS 2025 also rewards loyalty. Members of Skywards Everyday can earn 25 per cent bonus Miles on eligible purchases and enter a draw to win a share of 1 million Skywards Miles by spending Dh100 or more at Skywards Everyday and Skywards Miles Mall partners.
