UAE marks 54th Eid Al Etihad with nationwide celebrations
Screening locations announced across all seven emirates
DUBAI – Cities across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are marking the 54th Eid Al Etihad with a vibrant display of lights, flags, and decorations, transforming iconic landmarks, government buildings, malls, and major streets into panoramic scenes of national pride.
Illuminations in different designs have created immersive visual experiences, blending traditional motifs with modern elements, while public squares and waterfronts have been enhanced with interactive light installations for visitors to enjoy throughout the celebrations.

This year’s celebrations embrace the theme ‘United’, representing harmony, shared identity, and belonging among residents and communities across all seven emirates. The organising committee has encouraged participation at every level, from residents and families to schools, businesses, and cultural institutions, ensuring the occasion feels both national and deeply community-driven.
Nationwide events
Public arenas, waterfronts, parks, and heritage districts are decorated with shimmering lights and flags, offering an extended celebratory atmosphere from late November through early December.
In Dubai, mall facades, major roads including Sheikh Zayed Road, and destinations such as Global Village, The Beach, and Dubai Festival City Mall are illuminated and hosting themed festivities.

Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Qasr Al Hosn area, and major residential hubs are decorated to reflect the national mood.
Meanwhile in Sharjah, cultural sites such as Al Qasba, Al Majaz Waterfront, and Al Noor Island are featuring light displays, family zones, and children’s activities.
Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Al Dhafra, Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Ain have also rolled out festive arrangements at public parks, seaside promenades, and community venues, reflecting their local heritage while aligning with the national theme.
Where to watch the official ceremony
Residents across the country will be able to watch the live ceremony from Abu Dhabi on 2 December at designated screening locations in every emirate. In Abu Dhabi, major screening areas include Khalifa City, Al Falah, Al Shamkhah, and multiple Majlis venues such as Al Hawashim, Al Khatim, Al Shawamekh, Shakhbout City, and Al Shamkha.
Al Dhafra will host screenings at Madinat Zayed Public Park, Liwa Oasis, Al Shabahana Park in Al Sila’, Harat Parks in Beda AlMutawa, Delma Island Public Park, Zayed Alkhair Park in Ghayathi, and Majlis Mohammad Al Falahi Al Yasi.
In Al Ain, residents can watch the ceremony near Al Ain International Airport and at Majlis Al Tuwayya, Majlis Al Mas’oudi, Majlis Al Fou’ah, and Majlis Al Maqam.
Dubai audiences can join the celebration at Al Khawaneej, Global Village, and Dubai Festival City Mall. Sharjah will stream the ceremony at Al Siyouh Park and Kshisha Park. Ajman’s designated locations include Marsa Ajman, Al Jurf Family Park, and Al Waraqah Park.
In Umm Al Quwain, screenings will take place at Al Khor Waterfront; in Ras Al Khaimah at Corniche Al Qawasim and the RAK Flagpole; and in Fujairah at Umbrella Beach.
Accessing the broadcast at home and online
For those celebrating from home, the official ceremony will be streamed live via the Eid Al Etihad website, YouTube channel, local TV networks, and cinema screenings nationwide.
Residents can also explore digital Celebration Guides, featuring creative ideas, community recommendations, and interactive activities to encourage engagement at home or within neighbourhoods.
